Typical Format of a Toastmasters Meeting
There are 3 Sections of Toastmasters Meeting
- Table Topics which is basically impromptu
speaking. One Toastmaster asks his or her fellow Toastmaster a question,
which is answered off the cuff from one to two minutes.
- Formal Speeches presented by Club Members.
Each speech stresses specific goals set forth by manuals provided by Toastmasters
International. Three to four formal speeches are given at each meeting
- Evaluations of the Formal Speeches which
many believe is a key element to growth. The Speakers are given specific
feedback. highlighting what made the presentation strong & suggestions
for improvement while maintaining or building self-esteem.

of a Toastmasters Club!
The Mission of a Club
The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide
a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every
member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills,
which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
